Capitalism is Now a Worldwide Threat to Humanity! It is on the Fast Track to Global Warming and/or Nuclear War Catastrophes!

Since World War I, ‘the war to end all wars’, there have been perpetual wars for perpetual peace, this Laura Gray’s cartoon from the front page of The Militant August 18, 1945, Under the Banner Headline: “There Is No Peace”, is Still True for Today’s World!

Capitalism as a Failed  System: World Capitalism Has Been Aware of the Comming Catastrophe of Global Warming  Over 5 Decades Ago and Did Nothing!:  Under Capitalism — Human Lives Don’t Matter  Capitalism Does Not, and Never Has, Worked for the Masses! In Its Death Agony, Capitalism Is Traveling About The World Like The Four Horsemen of the The Apocalypse, Spreading  Racism,  War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. The very future of Humanity Is Now At stake!During This Economic Crisis, Capitalism’s Three-Point Political Program: 1. Austerity,2. Scapegoat Blacks, Minorities, and ‘Illegal’ Immigrants for Unemployment, and 3.  The Iron Heel!    For Decades, Blacks Have Been Subjected to The Iron Heel!   Currently, the US Capitalist Class is Divided Over When — Not If, to Apply It to Everyone!

Due to Years of Austerity, Cuts to Public Health Care, And An Anti-Science and Profiteering President, The United States Now Leads the World In  Coronavirus Cases and Deaths in the World!

Always Remember:  That President Obama, With a Majority Democrat Legislature Supported the Wall Street Bailout and Remember, That he Established, in writing,  the United States Capitalist Austerity Program. —  The Race to the Bottom/Pauperization of the 99%!

Democracy?: As the Capitalist Robber Barons Steal from the 99%,  Only the 1% Voted For Austerity!   The 99% Should Decide On Austerity — Not Just The 1%, Who Profit From Austerity!!  Under Austerity, All of the World Will Eventually Be Pauperized, Humbled, and Desecrated Like Greece and Puerto Rico.!   Socialism Means True Democracy, that the 99% Will Rule, Not the Few!

Quotes of the Day:

Anger against Cop City is growing, not just because of the political repression being used against activists, but because the project is the product of  police militarization, whopping spending on security at the expense of other needed services, and the destruction of forest land.     With Georgia’s RICO law in the news because of Trump, the media should be connecting this law to the broad suppression of legitimate dissent in Atlanta. While the prosecution is not going unreported, the urgency of the Orwellian use of state power is not felt in any kind of news analysis or in opinion pieces in the mainstream corporate press. At least not yet. — Georgia’s RICO Law Is in the News—but Its Use to Silence Protesters Gets a Pass

Ecosocialism Ecosocialism (also known as green socialism, socialist ecology, ecological materialism, or revolutionary ecology)[1] is an ideology merging aspects of socialism with that of green politicsecology and alter-globalization or anti-globalization. Eco-socialists generally believe that the expansion of the capitalist system is the cause of social exclusionpovertywar and environmental degradation through globalization and imperialism, under the supervision of repressive states and transnational structures.[2][3]

The Platform of the California Green Party is Ecoscoialism! At this stage of capitalism, the Only solurion for life’s survival and humanity’s survival is ecosocialism. Every climate scientist has argued for coperaration of countries and hummanity to end the climate emmerengy. The California Green’s platform leaves the national green party open to the concept of ecosocial and a green industrial revolution. Now is the time for ecosocialism! The slogan of the Day is Ecosocialism or Ecocide!:

Green Party of California Platform The Green Party of California works to build an alternative system for a socially and racially just, ecologically sustainable, democratic and peaceful society that exists in harmony with nature.     We call this alternative social, economic, and political system “EcoSocialism”, founded on democracy, equity, and solidarity.     As Greens, we understand EcoSocialism to mean:

  • An end to the capitalist, class-based power and privilege, marked by inequity, white supremacy, racism, imperialism, colonialism, ableism, heteropatriarchy, and all other forms of oppression; and
  • An economic system based on social and worker (waged and unwaged) ownership and democratic control of production and exchange to best meet human and planetary needs; and
  • A political system founded on democratic decision-making on the local, regional, national and international levels, able to restore the balance between the worlds of nature and of humanity.

Therefore, the Green Party of California rejects the oppressive and unsustainable capitalist system that exploits both nature and people for private gain.     The Green Party of California also rejects contributions from corporations, and their super-PACs and lobbyists. Our Ten Key Values (http://www.cagreens.org/ten-key-values) guide our platform that includes five main sections, each containing detailed platform planks:

United States:

The United States is not a Democracy (A government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly)! Only the 1%, through their ownership of the Republicrats and who profit from war and the war budget, vote for War and the war budget — A policy, which Gore Vidal called a  Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace. — The 99% Should Decide On War — Not Just The 1% Who Profit From War!  Under a Democracy, The 99% would have the right to vote on the policy of Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace! The United States takes from the poor and gives to the Rich. Tax the Rich!  — They Can Afford To Pay! Both Parties Support U.S. Capitalism’s Wars! (The Only War the Democrats Opposed was the Civil War!)

We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can’t have both. — Louis D. Brandeis Quotes

Passenger Trains in the United States and EuropeChris Hedges: Humanitarian Imperialism Created the Libyan Nightmare NATO’s military intervention in Libya in 2011, which overthrew the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, resulted in a chaotic and murderous failed state. Libyans pay a horrific price for this catastrophe “We came, we saw, he died,” Hillary Clinton famously quipped when Muammar Gaddafi, after seven months of U.S. and NATO bombing, was overthrown in 2011 and killed by a mob who sodomized him with a bayonet. But Gaddafi would not be the only one to die.  Libya, once the most prosperous and one of the most stable countries in Africa, a country with free healthcare and education, the right for all citizens to a home, subsidized electricity, water and gasoline, along with the lowest infant mortality rate and highest life expectancy on the continent, along with one of the highest literacy rates, swiftly fragmented into warring factions. There are currently two rival regimes battling for control in Libya, along with an array of rogue militias.

Hyping Ukraine Counteroffensive US Press Chose Propaganda Over Journalism It has been clear for some time that US corporate news media have explicitly taken a side on the Ukraine War. This role includes suppressing relevant history of the lead-up to the war (FAIR.org, 3/4/22), attacking people who bring up that history as “conspiracy theorists” (FAIR.org, 5/18/22), accepting official government pronouncements at face value (FAIR.org, 12/2/22) and promoting an overly rosy picture of the conflict in order to boost morale.  For most of the war, most of the US coverage has been as pro-Ukrainian as Ukraine’s own media, now consolidated under the Zelenskyy government (FAIR.org, 5/9/23). Dire predictions sporadically appeared, but were drowned out by drumbeat coverage portraying a Ukrainian army on the cusp of victory, and the Russian army as incompetent and on the verge of collapse.

Working Harder Than Ever: The Last Remaining Japanese American Farmers California families endured wartime incarceration and market changes to stay in business, but gen Z eyes life beyond the farm Alan Hayashi’s 120-hectare (300-acre) farm is an unassuming pillar of Arroyo Grande, a city on California’s central coast that’s covered by rolling vineyards and ancient oaks. Two vast fields, partitioned by an inland stretch of Highway 1, produce white strawberries, squash, beets, celery and two dozen other crops. Hayashi, who’s up at dawn seven days a week, has devoted the better half of his life to the farm’s upkeep: he plants, irrigates and harvests his crops, the roar of rushing traffic an untiring companion. He also packages and sells the goods at his roadside stand and different farmers’ markets in San Luis Obispo county. On a good day, he’ll wrap up by 6pm and return home for dinner

Chris Hedges: Craig Murray on the ‘Slow Motion Execution’ of Assange As Julian Assange continues to fight extradition to the United States to face prosecution under the Espionage Act, a growing chorus of voices is rising to demand an end to his persecution. Hounded by US law enforcement and its allies for more than a decade, Assange has been stripped of all personal and civil liberties for the crime of exposing the extent of US atrocities during the War on Terror. In the intervening years, it’s become nakedly apparent that the intent of the US government is not only to silence Assange in particular, but to send a message to whistleblowers and journalists everywhere on the consequences of speaking truth to power. Former British ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray, who was fired for exposing the CIA’s use of torture in the country, joins The Chris Hedges Report to discuss what Julian Assange’s fight means for all of us.

Lesser Evil Politics Mean More Evil:

Trump vs ‘Lesser Evil’Biden: Biden’s Rightward Shift on Immigration Draws Comparisons to Trump

Sending migrants back

  • Trump: Expelled 400,00 people! Biden: Over 2.28 million people were expelled (And counting!)!
  • What Trump did: In March 2020, at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Trump administration invoked Title 42, a controversial statute ostensibly meant as a public health measure.
  • The policy allowed US authorities to swiftly expel migrants – including asylum seekers – at the border.     Nearly 400,000 people were detained and expelled between its implementation and January 2021, when Mr Trump left the White House.
  • Even at the height of the pandemic, Title 42 came under frequent criticism from those who argued the policy allowed the US to expel asylum seekers without any legal process.
  • Human Rights Watch, for example, said the policy was “illegal and violates the human rights of those subjected to it”.
  • Thousands at US border as migrant policy expires
  • US to open new migrant centres in Latin America

What Biden did: He defended keeping Title 42 in place, using the pandemic as justification.     Over 2.28 million people were expelled using Title 42 authority between January 2021 and March 2023, the last month for which data is available.     But when the US ended its coronavirus public health emergency on May 11, Title 42 expired with it.     To replace it, US immigration authorities unveiled a “carrot and stick” approach that encourages legal pathways, while also implementing strict penalties for those who cross illegally.      They have opened regional processing centres in Latin America aimed at helping migrants apply to come to the US and expanded access to CBP One, an app migrants can use to schedule asylum appointments.People who cross illegally will be deported, barred from re-entering the US for at least five years, and be “presumed ineligible for asylum”, according to Customs and Border Protection (CBP).     Under Title 42, there were no such consequences.      Republicans have said they fear the policies won’t do enough to stop an influx of migrants.     Some Democrats, as well as some immigration advocates, claim the policies implemented after Title 42 also violate international refugee law.

Money Went to Wuhan Institute of Virology U.S. State Dept refuses to answer questions about USAID funding to the Wuhan IV “to make Coronaviruses that are weaponized” in Wuhan.  Yesterday, I wrote a piece summarizing some of my prior questioning on this issue and the various ways the State Department has covered this up. As I’ve documented, USAID funded EcoHealth Alliance far more than NIH.Today, I got called on, but Miller tried his mightiest to derail the substance of the issue. More to come, but here’s video of the crux of it with full transcript below (please support this work if you can):

Professors Point to JPMorgan Chase as Poster Boy of a Financial System Dependent on Corruption to Sustain Itself The full day conference sponsored by nonprofit watchdog Better Markets last Wednesday was a unique opportunity to gain brilliant insights from academic experts who have battled on the frontlines of the most unprecedented and ongoing era of corruption in U.S. financial history. (You can watch it on YouTube at this link.) In fact, at the close of the conference, Anat Admati, Professor of Finance and Economics at Stanford Graduate School of Business, summed up the U.S. financial system in five words: “Corruption has become the system

Global Climate March: Clashes in Paris as Protesters Rally Ahead of COP21 Hundreds of thousands of climate change activists were taking part in global marches Sunday, urging action from world leaders on the eve of a U.N. climate summit in Paris.

Sweden: “Scandinavian Socialism” or a Bosses’ Paradise? Sweden is often presented as a model of class collaboration, stability and a robust welfare state. The truth is that it is one of the most unequal countries in the world. Decades of cuts and privatisations has led to massive discontent, aggravated by one of the highest falls in living standards in Europe in the past two years.     Sweden has, like the rest of Scandinavia, often been hailed by reformists around the world as proof that you can reform capitalism: that it is possible to have a large welfare state and a somewhat equal distribution of wealth without abolishing capitalism. Neither straight up capitalism, nor communism, but a wonderful third option that is possible even without class struggle, but instead can be attained through pleasant negotiations between the bosses and the labour movement.     Bernie Sanders even coined the phrase “Scandinavian Socialism”, and promoted this fantasy as his model for the US.

Health. Welfare, and Education:

The government of the United States can pass laws in a few days to spend tens of trillions of dollars for war and the bailout of Wall Street and the bankers. Yet, those who, pass universal healthcare for themselves, but cannot spend even one trillion dollars for universal health for those who are ‘governed’! This is what is considered, by the powers to be,  a democracy and part of the democratic way. — Roland Sheppard, Let the People  Vote on Healthcare
