Editorial: The Global Crisis of Capitalism!

We Must Hold These Monsters to Account!

Throughout the world the are many Example of this current crisis of capitalism they are:

  1. There is a crisis grotesque global Inequality! There is  inequality of wealth both individual weal and nationional wealth. As the rich have gotten richer there has been a mass paupeerization of the world’s masses. Capitalism can not longer produce food, shelter, for  the the health welfare of all humanityDemocratic rights are under constant attack on a global basis.
  2. The Economic crisis of capitalism of overproduction, underproduction, unwmployment, and inflation/ government mental debt exacerbated by spending and wasting $trillions for  military industrial complex production!! The
  3. The Crisis of the Evvionment! Global Warming, primarity caused by capitalism’s addition to the burning fossil fule, we are now above many climate ‘tipping points! The Earth is getting warmer since global warming is a self acceleration process, (As the rate of global warming increases, global warming increases, which increase the rate of warming etc.) The Ice caps are melting as the oceans are getting warmer and the subsequent growing of the oceans could affect the earh’s axis!
  4. The Crisis of war and subsequent genocide and environmental disruption spreading throughout the planet! And we are now in a danger of world war III.Nuclear war!
  5. All of the above are causing are causing global migration of people finding it t live in their current economic and environmental conditionts.

To even begin solve the problems of these crises. There are no reformist or even transitional solutions. The crisis has gone on for so long, that there are not capitals solutions, just cooperation solutions.

In many of the demonstatations the a banners system change not climate change!  It is becomming clear that capitalism is a failing system. In the current times we call for and work for system change and agitate for a democrstic socialism or communist solution!

Te begin this fight we should form a socialist united front to advocate, educate and agitate for a socialist world. As Fidel Castro said at Enough of selfishness. Enough of schemes of domination. Enough of insensitivity, irresponsibility and deceit. Tomorrow will be too late to do what we should have done a long time ago.      In the words of Fiel Castro. When he urged climate action at Rio in 1992:  Enough of selfishness! Enough of schemes of domination! Enough of insensitivity, irresponsibility and deceit.! Tomorrow will be too late to do what we should have done a long time ago!” Let’s Begin the begin! There is nothing to lose and survival to win!

Images of the Day:

Genocide Fires: Carlos Latuff: From Auschwitz to Gaza, the parallels are undeniable. Genocide is happening in real time, and the world is watching. Palestinians are being trapped, bombed, starved and burned alive, just like so many before them. How much longer will governments stay silent?

Fire Weather On the Front Lines of a Burning World

Since World War I, ‘the war to end all wars’, there have been perpetual wars for perpetual peace, this Laura Gray’s cartoon from the front page of The Militant August 18, 1945, Under the Banner Headline: “There Is No Peace”There is No Democracy! When Less Than 1% Control the Wealth, Production, and Price of Everything Produced and Consumed in the World!      In the present period of unfettered Capitalism, the pretense of democratic rule does not exist, except in the minds of ‘socialists’ like Bernie Sanders and the Labor Bureaucracy!   Capitalists view all struggles as struggles against capitalist rule! Transition demands immediately become revolutionary demands!    Therefore, any resistence to the attack of capitalists has to be organized by those that understand this!

Today, the United States Capitalists are Consolidating Themselves as the Supreme Capitalists!      Capitalism’s Gluttony is Demonstrated by It’s Quest for More and More Profits at the Expense of Humanity!     The Rise of Capitalism was Under the Banner of Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity! Now There is  Less Liberty, More Inequality, and Less Fraternity of Humanity!   Every Day, From Global Warming to Global War There is a New Example of Capitalism in Imperialist Decay!

Capitalism as a Failed  System: World Capitalism Has Been Aware of the Comming Catastrophe of Global Warming  Over 6 Decades Ago and Did Nothing!:  Under Capitalism — Human Lives Don’t Matter  Capitalism Does Not, and Never Has, Worked for the Masses! In Its Death Agony, Capitalism Is Traveling About The World Like The Five Horsemen of the the Apocalypse, Spreading  Racism,  War, Famine, Pestilence, Death, and Misinformation! The very future of Humanity Is Now At stake!

During This Economic Crisis, Capitalism’s Three-Point Political Program: Austerity, Scapegoat Blacks, Minorities, and ‘Illegal’ Immigrants for Unemployment, and The Iron Heel!    For Decades, Blacks Have Been Subjected to The Iron Heel!   Currently, the US Capitalist Class is Divided Over When — Not If, to Apply It to Everyone! Globaly, With the Current Gaza War, The Right of Assembly is Under Attack! Due to Years of Austerity, Cuts to Public Health Care, And An Anti-Science and Profiteering President, The United States Still Leads the World In  Coronavirus Cases and Deaths in the World!

The Iron Heel

The Majority of the World, Despite the Media Monopoly’s Lies, are Opposed to the Palestinian Genocide and Global Warming — The 1% Minority Funds Them! At, this Time in History, Capitalism is Exposing the Fact That it is Opposed to Majority Rule/Democracy!

Always Remember:  That President Obama, With a Majority Democrat Legislature Supported the Wall Street Bailout and Remember, That he Established, in writing,  the United States Capitalist Austerity Program. —  The Race to the Bottom/Pauperization of the 99%!

Democracy?: As the Capitalist Robber Barons Steal from the 99%,  Only the 1% Voted For Austerity!   The 99% Should Decide On Austerity — Not Just The 1%, Who Profit From Austerity!!  Under Austerity, All of the World Will Eventually Be Pauperized, Humbled, and Desecrated Like Greece and Puerto Rico.!   Socialism Means True Democracy, that the 99% Will Rule, Not the Few!

Quotes of the Day:

In 2013, Texas enacted a first-of-its-kind law, allowing people prosecuted on the basis of junk science to challenge their convictions. Roark successfully argued to his trial court that SBS had been discredited and that he was entitled to a new trial. Last week, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals agreed that key medical experts in Roark’s case would not testify the same way if the trial were to take place today: “We find that if the newly evolved scientific evidence were presented … it is more likely than not, he would not have been convicted.” — Texas is About to Execute Robert Roberson for a Crime that Never Happened

War crimes in Gaza I Al Jazeera Investigations Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit exposes Israeli war crimes in the Gaza Strip through the medium of photos and videos posted online by Israeli soldiers themselves during the year long conflict.     The I-Unit has built up a database of thousands of videos, photos and social media posts. Where possible it has identified the posters and those who appear.     The material reveals a range of illegal activities, from wanton destruction and looting to the demolition of entire neighbourhoods and murder.    The film also tells the story of the war through the eyes of Palestinian journalists, human rights workers and ordinary residents of the Gaza Strip. And it exposes the complicity of Western governments – in particular the use of RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus as a base for British surveillance flights over Gaza.

Podcast: The Truth Behind the Headlines: Gaza, Lebanon, and the Economic Crisis in Europe This Wednesday, Jorge Martín and Hamid Alizadeh from the International Secretariat of the Revolutionary Communist International sat down to talk about the genocide in Gaza, the war in Lebanon, and the crisis facing the European economy. We once more dive into the pages of the billionaire press of the past week, in order to expose the truth behind the headlines, illuminate the processes driving the chaos on the world stage, and to explain how we as communists can pick out the truth.

The United States is not a Democracy (A government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly)! Only the 1%, through their ownership of the Republicrats and who profit from war and the war budget, vote for War and the war budget — A policy, which Gore Vidal called a  Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace. — The 99% Should Decide On War — Not Just The 1% Who Profit From War!  Under a Democracy, The 99% would have the right to vote on the policy of Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace! New FTC ‘Click-to-Cancel’ Rule Marks Latest Pro-Consumer Win by Lina Khan “Consumers shouldn’t have to navigate a Rube Goldberg machine to get out of a subscription they purchased with a keystroke,” said one advocate The target of the latest consumer protection rule uneiled by the Biden-Harris administration’s Federal Trade Commission on Wednesday is, as one journalist said, “one of those things that sounds minor but is at the heart of many of the frustrations of American life”: The hoops people in the U.S. are required to jump through to cancel subscriptions or services they no longer want or need. The FTC announced that its “click-to-cancel” rule, part of the agency’s review of the 1973 Negative Option Rule, was finalized and will go into effect 180 days after it is published in the Federal Register.

Democracy Dies in Crude Oil A win for the Planet! Environmental activists rarely get to celebrate a major win for the planet, but that’s what happened in Ecuador in August last year. After a decade-long struggle between activists and the government, a referendum was held on whether to continue drilling for oil in a protected part of the Amazon. The people voted to kick the oil industry out.   The government and the state oil company, Petroecuador, had tried every trick in the book to get a different result. There was a disinformation campaign, threats of austerity, even an attempt to void hundreds of thousands of signatures that were collected for the referendum to happen.    But the vote eventually went ahead, and 60 percent chose to champion biodiversity and keep more than a billion barrels of oil in the ground. Ecuador’s Constitutional Court gave the government a year to dismantle the infrastructure of three oil fields under Yasuní national park, both a biodiversity hotspot and a home to Indigenous communities, some still living in isolation.

Book Review:  How Climate Change Destroyed a Tar Sands Boomtown: Fire Weather On the Front Lines of a Burning World John Vaillant’s recent book Fire Weather is subtitled a “true story from a hotter world” and the story of hurricanes Milton and Helene could have shared that subtitle. They were both made worse by the hotter world we now live on. Scientists and environmentalists have longed warned about the feedback mechanisms of a warmer planet. As the world gets warmer, climate change further encourages the warming of the world. This cycle accelerates the speed of warming. The catastrophes that accompany a hotter planet come thicker and faster.    Fire Weather deals with just one such catastrophe, but it is an emblematic and enlightening one, the destruction of Fort McMurray in Alberta, Canada in 2016. There’s a grim feedback mechanism in play here, for McMurray is at the heart of fossil fuel capitalism. It was for many years a boomtown driven by the wealth of the region’s tar sands. The bitumen deposits here are difficult to turn into profitable commodities. But when the price of oil is high enough there are bonanzas to be made. McMurray was a town built on bonanza.    Vaillant traces the history of McMurray, and indeed, the history of industrial capitalism’s obsession with oil. Its a fascinating story that shows the way that capitalism embedded nature, and its resources, into a global commodity system. McMurray started off as an isolated place where animal skins and fur were trapped and sold, before morphing into an (isolated) 21st century oil city. Weaved in with this history is a longer story of humanity’s relationship with fire. Combustion, burning, fire are essential for humans. We need fire for travel, heating and food. But fire is also intrinsic to nature. The boreal forests that surround McMurray for tens of thousands of square miles need fire to renew and propagate. Humans think of such fires as a threat that needs to be fought — an invading army that has to be countered with traps, weapons and occasional retreat (the retreats are more common now). But the fires that engulf Alberta are part of that ecological system, its just that (unfortunately for humanity) they are more frequent, more intense and more common in a warming world.

  Black Liberation/Civil Rights:

Racism and the Logic of Capitalism A Fanonion Reconsideration The emergence of a new generation of anti-racist activists and thinkers battling police abuse, the prison-industrial complex and entrenched racism in the US, alongside the crisis over immigration and growth of right-wing populism in Europe and elsewhere, makes this a crucial moment to develop theoretical perspectives that conceptualise race and racism as integral to capitalism while going beyond identity politics that treat such issues primarily in cultural and discursive terms. The last several decades have produced a slew of important studies by Marxists of the logic of capital as well as numerous explorations by postcolonial theorists of the narratives that structure racial and ethnic discrimination. Far too often, however, these two currents have assumed different or even opposed trajectories, making it all the harder to transcend one-sided class-reductionist analyses and equally one-sided affirmations of identity that bypass or ignore class. In light of the new reality produced by the deepening crisis of neoliberalism and the looming disintegration of the political order that has defined global capitalism since the end of the Cold War, the time has come to revisit theoretical approaches that can help delineate the integrality of race, class and capitalism. Few thinkers are more important in this regard than Frantz Fanon, widely considered one of the most creative thinkers on race, racism and national consciousness of the twentieth century. Fanon’s effort to ‘slightly stretch’ (as he put it) ‘the Marxian analysis … when it comes to addressing the colonial issue’[1] represented an important attempt to work out the dialectic of race and class through a coherent theoretical framework that does not dissolve one into the other. This may help explain the resurgence of interest in his work that is now underway. At least five new books on Fanon have appeared in English over the past two years[2] – in addition to a new 600-page collection in French of his previously-unpublished or unavailable writings on psychiatry, politics and literature.[3] Although Fanon has remained a commanding presence for decades, the extent of this veritable renaissance of interest in his thought is striking. It is no less reflected in the many times his words have appeared on posters, flyers and social media over the past year by those protesting police abuse, the criminal-injustice system, and racism on and off college campuses.[4] These ongoing rediscoveries of Fanon’s work mark a radical departure from the tenor of debates among postcolonial theorists over the past several decades – when the prevailing issue seemed to be whether or not he was a ‘premature poststructuralist’.[5] If one were to limit oneself to such academic discussions, one might come away thinking that the validity of Fanon’s body of work rests on the extent to which he succeeded in deconstructing the unity of the colonial subject in the name of alterity and difference.[6] Yet these approaches – some of which went so far as to sanction even the discussion of capitalism or its unitary logic as representing a capitulation to epistemic imperialism – could not be further from what drives the renewal of interest in Fanon’s legacy today.[7]

Margaret Kimberley: Censorship, War Propaganda and Fascism The U.S. edges closer to hot war and continues aiding and abetting a genocide. The U.S. edges closer to hot war and continues aiding and abetting a genocide. Censorship and war propaganda are necessary tools when a rogue state chooses to silence its opponents.    The F-word of the moment is fascism. Establishment pundits, Democratic Party politicians, and corporate media are of one accord and agree that a Donald Trump presidency will bring fascism to the United States. All of them ignore the authoritarian nature of the state that already exists and the actions taken to date which can accurately be described as fascistic.    On October 13, the same day that the Israel Defense Force (IDF) bombed refugees at the Al-Aqsa Hospital and burned patients alive, the U.S. announced it was sending troops to Israel to man the THAAD missile system which will be used in the imminent attack on Iran. Congress has not approved such a deployment. Most citizens of the U.S. are unaware that their government has chosen to fulfill Israel’s long held fantasy of attacking Iran with U.S. help or that the repercussions could lead to a wider regional war with other nations.    Only avid social media users who know good sources of information were aware that the IDF incinerated sick refugees, including 19-year-old Sha’ban al-Dalou and his mother. Only defeated and soon-to-be former Congresswoman Cori Bush dared to say plainly what Israel had done, setting fire to people in hospital beds. Her colleague Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez , who once declared that Kamala Harris was working “tirelessly” on a ceasefire agreement, is now demanding that Biden and Harris begin an arms embargo on Israel. Of course, Harris has said she is opposed to an arms embargo. If the woman known as AOC was serious she would rescind her endorsement of Harris, but as she epitomizes the unserious politician, no such stance has or will be taken.     In order to prevent the public from reading or viewing or listening to independent media, the State Department has sanctioned Russian-based outlets such as Radio Sputnik . Its programs ceased to operate as of October 15. Secretary of State Blinken accused African Stream of being a “Russian asset” and the site was immediately banned from YouTube and Meta, had its Google account closed, and was prevented from using Stripe to conduct financial transactions. Even small audiences are too large when there is fog of war to be carried out and information to be hidden from the people.    Not only was Sputnik targeted but both the U.S. and Canada have sanctioned the organization Samidoun Prisoner Solidarity Support Network, making it unable to conduct any financial transactions and, in effect, ending its ability to operate. The trumped-up charge was that Samidoun is a “sham,” a “front” organization for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). The setup doesn’t work unless a connection with an organization designated as “terrorist” is alleged. Now an internationally respected organization is destroyed so that opposition to Israeli war crimes can be silenced.     Like clockwork, the Russiagate scam has been dusted off and resurrected when needed at an opportune moment. Kamala Harris declared that, “We know there is foreign interference,” and added for good measure, “I was part of the Senate Intelligence Committee when we investigated Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. Black folks were targeted with misinformation.” For now, we have been spared her contention that Russian operatives were responsible for the controversy surrounding Colin Kaepernick’s protest, which brought attention to police killings in this country.    The giant elephant in the room is Palestine and now Lebanon and the bipartisan determination to support the zionist project after nearly 200,000 people have been killed by bombs, starvation, and illness in Palestine alone. Lebanon is the next target for regime change. The U.S. special envoy, Amos Hochstein , said as much in a Freudian slip: “Once we elect, select, once Lebanon selects a new president.” Hochstein’s title is Special Envoy and Coordinator for International Energy Affairs but he is Biden’s pointman who gave the go-ahead for the invasion of Lebanon. He also happens to have been born in Israel and served in the IDF himself. So much for impartiality.   The outcome of the presidential election hinges on whether or not Biden and Harris have the courage to even pretend that they will enforce a ceasefire or an arms embargo. Thousands of people, enough to change the outcome in battleground swing states, have vowed not to vote for Harris unless the killing stops. So far, she can only muster meaningless entreaties : “The UN reports that no food has entered northern Gaza in nearly 2 weeks. Israel must urgently do more to facilitate the flow of aid to those in need.” Israel is deliberately withholding food. Starvation is a weapon of war. For now, the Biden administration has given Israel 30 days to increase humanitarian aid with “… an implicit warning that the United States could curtail or halt those shipments.” Of course, the deadline date is after the presidential election, which means the two countries are colluding, as Israel wants to use the time before Election Day to kill more people. Biden knows this and presents a ruse as some sort of breakthrough.    No one has to anticipate fascism should Trump win the election. It is the Democratic Party that has carried out a genocide, censored information about it, pressured the International Criminal Court and International Court of Justice to ignore obvious war crimes, and indulged in pretense about ending the carnage. It is Joe Biden who is about to embroil the U.S. in a war with Iran and its allies. Biden has prevented U.S. citizens from accessing the information they choose to seek out, the way that dictatorships do. No one has to look abroad or wait for Trump to see an authoritarian state. It is staring us in the face and will continue regardless of who is the next president of this country unless the people stop them. UNIFIL Under Fire: Israel Vs. The United NatIONS Israel’s war of words with the United Nations has escalated into deliberate IDF attacks on its peacekeepers in Lebanon. These provocations reveal the embarrassing impotence of the UN and Israel’s sense of utter impunity as it pushes for a new regional war.     Since 7 October 2023, Israel’s already frosty relationship with the UN has deteriorated considerably, following criticism and legal rulings against the many atrocities Israel has committed in its genocidal war on Gaza – including the butchery of civilians and the killing of UN personnel. Of course, the “ironclad” support of US imperialism has turned all these criticisms and rulings into dead letters.
