The U.S. is the Real Threat to PeaceUnited National Antiwar War Coalition Alert!  No to Trump’s Threat of Nuclear War on North Korea! Quotes of the Day:

Institutional Racism “…white terrorists bomb a black church and kill five black children that is an act of individual racism… But when in the same city — Birmingham, Alabama —five hundred black babies die each year because of the lack of proper food, shelter and medical facilities, and thousands more are destroyed and maimed physically, emotionally and intellectually because of conditions of poverty and discrimination in the black community that is a function of institutional racism”. — Stokely Carmichael

You can’t talk about solving the economic problem of the Negro without talking about billions of dollars. You can’t talk about ending the slums without first saying profit must be taken out of slums. You’re really tampering and getting on dangerous ground because you are messing with folk then. You are messing with captains of industry. Now this means that we are treading in difficult water, because it really means that we are saying that something is wrong with capitalism. There must be a better distribution of wealth, and maybe America must move toward a democratic socialism.” — Martin Luther King

Terrorism in Charlottesville, Va.: Racism, Explotation, and Terror Has Always Been an Integral Part of Capitalism — Especially in the United States By Roland Sheppard

The Media, the government, Trump, and the capitalist class promote racist terror at home and abroad, to justify their perpetual war for perpetual peace and austerity — Terror is it an integral  part of the The Iron Heel. The recent events in Charlottesville, Va., reveal the institutionalization of the Racist Ideology of the United States.

Terrorism in Charlottesville, Va. Video: See It. One dead as car mows down counter-protesters in Virginia at tumultuous white supremacist rally One person was killed and 19 others were injured after a car plowed into a crowd of counter-protesters marching against a “pro-white” rally Saturday in Charlottesville, Va., witnesses and officials said. Video of the terrifying moment shows at least one person being tossed into the air as the silver Dodge Charger mowed into the crowd.

Profits from the trade profits profit fueled the Industrial Revolution and the subsequent rise of capitalism.“Capital”, Volume One, Part VIII, Chapter 31, (the) “Genesis of the Industrial Capitalist” By Karl Marx:

The discovery of gold and silver in America, the extirpation, enslavement, and entombment in mines of the aboriginal population, the beginning of the conquest and looting of the East Indies, the turning of Africa into a warren for the commercial hunting of black-skins, signalized the rosy dawn of the era of capitalist production.  … If money … comes into the world with a congenital blood-stain on one cheek, capital comes dripping from head to foot, from every pore, with blood and dirt.

Modern day racism was/is an ideology developed to justify the exploitation and oppression of the people of Africa and the rest of the world. This exploitation was also known as the white man’s burden, as capitalism began to rape the world’s wealth. The slave trade helped to fund the United States, in its development to become a nation. It was even a part of the United States original constitution.

Police Stood By As Mayhem Mounted in Charlottesville State police and National Guardsmen watched passively for hours as self-proclaimed Nazis engaged in street battles with counter-protesters. There was nothing haphazard about the violence that erupted Saturday in this bucolic town in Virginia’s heartland. At about 10 a.m., at one of countless such confrontations, an angry mob of white supremacists formed a battle line across from a group of counter-protesters, many of them older and gray-haired, who had gathered near a church parking lot. On command from their leader, the young men charged and pummeled their ideological foes with abandon. One woman was hurled to the pavement, and the blood from her bruised head was instantly visible. Terrorism in Charlottesville, Seen Through the Lens of an Eyewitness American culture has always contained rotten seeds of racism aching to root white supremacy permanently into the landscape. For more than eight months, President Donald Trump has been watering this pseudo-patriotic movement, nurturing it with his violent rhetoric. The “alt-right” is in full bloom now. Its members are empowered by Trump, as evidenced by the events in Charlottesville, Va., on Saturday. A Legacy of Environmental Racism: Exxon Mobil Is Still Pumping Toxins into Black Community in Texas 17 Years After Civil Rights Complaint Joseph Gaines was sitting on his porch in the Charlton-Pollard section of Beaumont, Texas, on a recent evening in June, sipping beer and chatting with some of his neighbors about the NBA playoffs, when a loud boom cut through the night and a stream of fire lit up the sky. A few minutes later, a strong, unpleasant odor settled over the street. As soon as they smelled it, the men stopped arguing about LeBron James and left the porch, covering their mouths and noses as they hurried into their homes. Defend the Venezuelan Revolution Against Trump and Imperialism! Donald Trump has promised “fire and fury like the world has never seen” and will not rule out a first strike against nuclear-armed North Korea. In the same breath, he made the following crudely open threat against Venezuela: “We have many options for Venezuela. And by the way, I am not going to rule out a military option. We have many options for Venezuela. This is our neighbor. You know, we are all over the world and we have troops all over the world in places that are very, very far away. Venezuela is not very far away and the people are suffering, and they are dying. We have many options for Venezuela, including a possible military option if necessary.” Health, Science, Education, and Welfare:
