Genocide is ‘American as Apple Pie’!

Native American Genocide(North American Indian Nations Before They were ‘Colonized’ by White Europeans)British Imperialism Set Up Colonies in North America. Unlike the Spanish, they did not incorporate the native population, they set up a settler state colony opposed and exterminate the native peoples!

This was justified by the ideology of racism — That Native American were less than White Europeans.  – That they were “Part of the ‘White Mann’s Burden!”

Freedom Cannot Exist on a Stolenland:  The United States’ ‘Independence’ is Masked in Genocide and Imperialism While many people across the United States are off enjoying this 4th of July weekend, this American holiday serves as a painful reminder of this country’s violent history which many are still unaware of and which continues to be felt today, across this stolen land. Independence Day, a United States federal holiday, commemorates the day the Second Continental Congress unanimously adopted the Declaration of Independence of the United States on July 4, 1776. While the United States and its settlers claimed its independence from Great Britain, this came at a cost of others, including this land’s Indigenous Peoples and Africans that were stolen from their own homelands and forced into slavery. This patriotic holiday is nothing to celebrate, because freedom cannot come at the cost of another’s freedom, especially on stolen land, amongst stolen Peoples. America’s Independence Day is a celebration of imperialism, genocide, and American exceptionalism, and there is no pride in genocide.     This country must take accountability for its violence, and it is our collective responsibility to learn decolonized history, uplift suppressed histories, and make others aware of the United States’ painful past. With the acknowledgment of the truth, it opens a door for justice, accountability, and healing which can further affirm others’ rights and freedoms to be respected and upheld.     Freedom cannot exist on stolen land, especially where the theft of lands continues centuries later, as seen with the recent example of the Mashpee Wampanoag, where Trump ordered 321 acres of land out of federal trust in 2020. While this decision has since been overturned, the fact that Indigenous lands are still being removed from Indigenous hands illuminates the truth that this country’s foundation is built on stolen land, and to maintain that foundation, this cycle of violence and theft must continue. A part of this foundation includes racist text within the Declaration of Independence itself. In the list of grievances in the Declaration, it is shared why settlers needed to separate from Great Britain and establish its own nation, “He has excited domestic Insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the Inhabitants of our Frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known Rule of Warfare, is an undistinguished Destruction, of all Ages, Sexes and Conditions.” In an NPR interview, David Treuer (Leech Lake Ojibwe) shares, “You can’t understand our Declaration of Independence without having a modicum of understanding of critical race theory because this country was founded on two principles. One was the theft of Indian land, and the other was the theft of Black labor in the form of slavery. And that is fundamental. Those two thefts were coded racially, and there’s no getting around that.” The reference of Native people as savages in the Declaration of Independence has created a culture and practice of dehumanization against Indigenous Peoples which has led to stolen land, rights violations, and genocide

When Karl Marx Described the Horrors of Colonialism He did not mince his words in, this chapter of Capital, he wrote: The discovery of gold and silver in America, the extirpation, enslavement, and entombment in mines of the aboriginal population, the beginning of the conquest and looting of the East Indies, the turning of Africa into a warren for the commercial hunting of black-skins, signalized the rosy dawn of the era of capitalist production.  … The treatment of the aborigines was, naturally, most frightful in plantation-colonies destined for export trade only, such as the West Indies, and in rich and well-populated countries, such as Mexico and India, that were given over to plunder. But even in the colonies properly so called, the Christian character of primitive accumulation did not belie itself. Those sober virtuosi of Protestantism, the Puritans of New England, in 1703, by decrees of their assembly set a premium of £40 on every Indian scalp and every captured red-skin: in 1720 a premium of £100 on every scalp; in 1744, after Massachusetts-Bay had proclaimed a certain tribe as rebels, the following prices: for a male scalp of 12 years and upwards £100 (new currency), for a male prisoner £105, for women and children prisoners £50, for scalps of women and children £50. Some decades later, the colonial system took its revenge on the descendants of the pious pilgrim fathers, who had grown seditious in the meantime. At English instigation and for English pay they were tomahawked by red-skins. The British Parliament proclaimed bloodhounds and scalping as “means that God and Nature had given into its hand.” . . . If money … comes into the world with a congenital blood-stain on one cheek, capital comes dripping from head to foot, from every pore, with blood and dirt.

And  as Martin Luther King said: In the final analysis, racism is evil because its ultimate logic is genocide. Hitler was a sick and tragic man who carried racism to its logical conclusion. And he ended up leading a nation to the point of killing about 6 million Jews. This is the tragedy of racism because its ultimate logic is genocide.

England Started and the United States Completed the  Native American Genocide The American Indian Holocaust, known as the “500 year war” and the “World’s Longest Holocaust In The History Of Mankind And Loss Of Human Lives.”   Genocide and Denying It: Why We Are Not Taught that the Natives of the United States and Canada were Exterminated. Death Toll: 95,000,000 to 114,000,000.   American Holocaust: D. Stannard (Oxford Press, 1992) – “over 100 million killed” “[Christopher] Columbus personally murdered half a million Natives”     “Hitler’s concept of concentration camps as well as the practicality of genocide owed much, so he claimed, to his studies of English and United States history. He admired the camps for Boer prisoners in South Africa and for the Indians in the wild west; and often praised to his inner circle the efficiency of America’s extermination – by starvation and uneven combat – of the red savages who could not be tamed by captivity.” — P. 202, “Adolph Hitler” by John Toland     Native Americans have the highest mortality rate of any U.S. minority because of U.S. action and policy. The biggest killers though were smallpox, measles, influenza, whooping cough, diphtheria, typhus, bubonic plague, cholera, and scarlet fever. All imported by the Europeans colonists.

Another Example of United States Genocide is Nuclear War and The United States in the Only Nation that Dropped the Atomic Bomb! Hiroshima and Nagasaki Never Again!

Hiroshima
Hiroshima August 7, 1945Hiroshima

One of the long-standing myths of U.S. history is that atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 to “save lives.” The story is that the bombings, which killed hundreds of thousands of people, were necessary to bring World War II to an end.

In reality, the decision was purely political. Leading generals and admirals opposed the bombing. It was ordered to demonstrate the ruthlessness of the U.S. government.

Ronald Takaki wrote, in his article on the subject in the July 31, 2005 issue of the San Francisco Chronicle, “During the days before that fateful Aug. 6, 1945, Gen. Douglas MacArthur learned that Japan had asked Russia to negotiate a surrender. ‘We expected acceptance of the Japanese surrender daily,’ one of his staff members recalled. When he was notified that an atomic bomb had been dropped on Hiroshima, the general was livid. MacArthur declared that the atomic attack on Hiroshima was ‘completely unnecessary from a military point of view.’”     General Dwight D. Eisenhower, commander of allied forces in Europe and later president of the U.S., also called it “completely unnecessary” and later told an interviewer,” It wasn’t necessary to hit them with that awful thing.” Fleet Admiral William Leahy, the president’s chief of staff, believed that Japan would fall without the necessity of a land invasion. Leahy later wrote that, in dropping the bomb, “we had adopted an ethical standard common to barbarians of the dark ages.” (Eisenhower and Leahy quotes found at: Hiroshimawho Disagreed With The Atomic Bombing? Why they did it.).   “Why then did the president make the decision to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima? In fact Truman gave an order not to bomb Nagasaki. A memo published in The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, (May/June 1998), states that Truman ‘had given orders to stop atomic bombing. He said the thought of wiping out another 100,000 people was too horrible. He didn’t like the idea of killing, as he said, ‘all those kids.’” Dirty Harry in San Francisco     So why was the bomb dropped? Why were Truman’s orders on the second bomb not obeyed?    “Secretary of War Henry Stimson, for his part, regarded the atomic bomb as what he called the ‘master card’ of diplomacy towards Russia.      However, he believed that sparring with the Soviet Union in the early spring, before the weapon was demonstrated, would be counterproductive.     Before a mid-May meeting of a cabinet-level committee considering Far Eastern issues, Stimson observed that “the questions cut very deep and [were] powerfully connected with our success with S-1 [the atomic bomb Gar Alperovitz, in “Hiroshima: Historians Reassess” Foreign Policy (Summer 1995) No. 99: 15-34, where it is only available to subscribers; the section quoted is available online at page 4. A web version of the article on can be found at the National Center for Economic and Security Alternatives website.     These new facts from history and Eisenhower’s memoirs show that the carnage of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not to make Japan surrender and save American lives, but to warn the Soviet Union that the United States had the atomic bomb and its leaders were cold-blooded enough to use such a weapon of mass destruction.       It was dropped as the opening salvo of the, “Cold War” and beginning of the process of Pax Americana, Enforced by the Threat of Nuclear War/Genocide! Hiroshima and Nagasaki Never Again!

New Style Atomic Weapons are Now Being Used In the Palestinian Genocide!

Israel is Using United States Nuclear Warfare!:

From Ban On Weapons Containing Depleted Uranium Question for written answer E-003483-15 to the Council Rule 130.   Miguel Viegas (GUE/NGL)      There is now enough convincing data to prove that Israel has criminally used depleted uranium weaponry, particularly in the Gaza Strip in August 2014.    Israel acquired more than 1 000 GBU-39 (‘Guided Bombs with Uranium’) bombs in the United States of America shortly before Operation ‘Cast Lead’, as well as DIME ammunition (‘Dense Inert Uranium Explosive’).     Depleted uranium is a lethal poison. When these bombs explode (used prolifically to penetrate Hamas bunkers), the uranium catches fire and the ashes spread for miles around, poisoning the population (including the Israeli army).     I ask the Council, whether or not, it is willing to move towards a process to ban the use of weapons containing depleted uranium, thereby following resolutions adopted in the past by the European Parliament.

Israel Used US Bombs in May Attack on “Safe Zone” in Rafah That Killed 45 The Boeing-made bombs were dropped on a camp specifically built for displaced .      Israel used U.S.-made bombs in a brutal attack on a displacement camp in Rafah that killed 45 Palestinians in May, a new investigation reveals.    According to The New York Times, on May 26, Israel deployed two 250-pound bombs — Boeing’s GBU-39 “small diameter” bombs that caused a blast that could kill and injure in a 570 foot radius — on sheds built for residential purposes in Kuwaiti Al-Salam Camp 1. There were roughly 60 camps within 500 feet of the blast, according to the investigation.

Genocide has always been a part of U.S. history.    It is as ‘American as Apple Pie’!
