If the Democrats Decide to Fund ICE It Will Mean the 1% Have Decided to Apply the White Nationalist No

As congressional negotiators on Tuesday released a proposed spending bill for the US Department of Homeland Security, with the January 30 funding deadline rapidly approaching, critics of President Donald Trump’s deadly immigration operations renewed calls for Democrats to oppose any new money for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.  —‘A Surrender to Trump’s Lawlessness’: Democrats Warned Against Giving ICE More Money

Background

It is easy to imagine with what a condescending perplexity the official socialist thinking of that time met Jack London’s menacing prophecies. If one took the trouble to look over the reviews of The Iron Heel at that time in the German Neue Zeit and Vorwärts, in the Austrian Kampf and Arbeiterzeitung, as well as in the other socialist publications of Europe and America, he could easily convince himself that the thirty-year-old “romanticist” saw incomparably more clearly and farther than all the social-democratic leaders of that time taken together. But Jack London bears comparison in this domain not only with the reformists. One can say with assurance that in 1907 not one of the revolutionary Marxists, not excluding Lenin and Rosa Luxemburg, imagined so fully the ominous perspective of the alliance between finance capital and labor aristocracy. This suffices in itself to determine the specific weight of the novel. —Trotsky and the Iron Heel

One hundred years after its initial publication, London’s political ideas and cultural insights seem remarkably contemporary. Indeed, in The Iron Heel, he describes a sinister conspiracy, by an oligarchy, to quash freedom of speech and freedom of assembly, imprison its outspoken opponents and critics, control news and information, install a professional army of paid mercenaries, create a secret police force, and wage global warfare for economic hegemony. There’s also guerrilla warfare, furious acts of wanton terrorism, and cold-blooded terrorists—a world roiling in violence that might be taken for the world of the twenty-first century. Here’s a book that demonstrates the veracity of Ezra Pound’s remark that “the artist is the antenna of the race.” — The Iron Heel at 100: Jack London The Artist as “Antenna of the Race”

‘The Fourth Amendment Literally Exists to Prevent This’: Memo Claims ICE Can Forcibly Enter Homes Without Judicial Warrants“Every American should be terrified by this secret ICE policy authorizing its agents to kick down your door and storm into your home,” said Sen. Richard Blumenthal, demanding congressional hearings. “The United States government is looking for ways around that pesky Fourth Amendment,” an investigative journalist said of Wednesday reporting by the Associated Press on an internal US Immigration and Customs Enforcement memo claiming that ICE agents can forcibly enter a private residence without a judicial warrant, consent, or an emergency.     The Fourth Amendment to the US Constitutionstates, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

The 1% and Their Government

Donald Trump is an example of the lawless might is policy of the United States both globally and locally.

All three branches of the government support the might is right policy!

All three branches have allowed The Resegregation of America!

In the recent period there has bipartisan approval to appoint originalists to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court has Given The 1% Control of Elections, with the Citizens United Decision!

The United States is no longer a democracy!

Today’s Supreme Court & The U.S. Government

“Bill of Rights”

Today’s Supreme Court, Trump’s appointees ensured an originalist majority:

AI Overview Originalist: Originalism, in the context of constitutional law, is a theory of interpretation that asserts that the meaning of the Constitution should be determined by what the framers and ratifiers of the document originally intended it to mean. It contrasts with “living constitutionalism,” which posits that the Constitution is a living document that should evolve with society.

It was the intent, of the ‘framers of the constitution’, not include the Bill of Rights in the original Constitution. The Bill of Rights was included after those, who led the 1776 revolution. threaten another revolution. The ‘framers’ then promised to in include the ‘Bill of rights as the first act of Congress’. The Bill of Rights became the first ten amendments to the constitution. To quell the threat of revolution.

We should not be surprised when Trump and the Supreme Court ignore the Bill of Rights!

The ‘founding fathers’ wrote the constitution to “protect the minority of the opulent against the majority”, and the Constitution was designed to protect the minority of the opulent against the majority, and the Constitution was designed to try to prevent, what is called, the tyranny of the majority, meaning democracy.

As James Madison, in May 1787  stated, when he was defending the constitution prior to it’s ratification:

“A national convention was called for May 1787, to revise the Articles of Confederation. Madison believed that the problem was not with the Articles, but rather the state legislatures, and so the solution was not to fix the articles but to restrain the excesses of the states. The principal questions before the convention became whether the states should remain sovereign, whether sovereignty should be transferred to the national government, or whether a settlement should rest somewhere in between.[4] By mid-June, it was clear that the convention was drafting a new plan of government around these issues—a constitution. Madison’s nationalist position shifted the debate increasingly away from a position of pure state sovereignty, and toward the compromise.[8] In a debate on June 26, he said that government ought to “protect the minority of the opulent against the majority” and that unchecked, democratic communities were subject to; the turbulency and weakness of unruly passions”.”[9] — Federalist No. 10

And as Noam Chomsky stated in the Article: Noam Chomsky Believes Trump Is “the Worst Criminal in Human History”:

“To return to a previous point: the left has often described Trump as a symptom of American decline or American bad behavior, and said that the real threat to American democracy is all of these things that have been true about us for a long time. The center-left has often described Trump as a uniquely malignant figure, who is threatening a democracy that was working better than some people on the left thought. You were seeming to come down on the latter side of that debate—which, given your status in the American left, I thought was interesting. Sorry. I think [American] democracy, first of all, was never much to write home about. Do you really want to talk about it? The Founding Fathers, let’s go back to them. They were committed to reducing democracy. The major scholarly work on the Constitutional Convention, the gold standard for today, is Michael Klarman’s book, and it’s called .The Framers’ Coup‘— their coup against democracy. The general population wanted more democracy. The Framers wanted to restrict that; they didn’t like the idea of democracy. Their picture was more or less that of John Jay: the people who own the country ought to rule it. James Madison explained that one of the prime goals of government is to protect the minority of the opulent against the majority, and the Constitution was designed to try to prevent what is called the tyranny of the majority, meaning democracy. You’ve got to protect the minority; the opulent have to be protected.“

All three branches of government, today, are following the intent of the ‘founding fathers’ to protect the 1% opulent minority from the 99% minority!

We should do the same thing, as those, who led the 1776 revolution

The Trump Electoral Victory is Representative of The Constant Attack Upon The Working Class Since 1948 And The Default and the Treacherous Roll of the Trade Union Bureaucracy

Much of the American people opposed both Clinton and Trump. The Majority of the People are worse off under Obama’s austerity, during his stay in office. Trump won because he filled a vacuum of leadership in opposition to the austerity program of the 1%’s United States. Hillary Clinton lost because she was a part of the austerity program.

An Example of the Degeneration of Capitalism

The following quotes explain the default of the trade union bureaucracy:

If the organized workers become fully conscious of their combined power and learn to use it in their own interests, no power inside this country or outside could stand up against them. Instead of the bosses dictating terms to the workers, they could, as they should, dictate terms to the bosses. Even today, in scattered strike situations, detachments of workers demonstrate their invincibility. They sweep forward against the bosses, against administration “troubleshooters,” against military men, and even against their own top leaders, to win their demands. The employers feel the enormous power of the workers and often assess it more accurately than the workers or their leaders. The bosses know that, by themselves, they cannot curb labor nor deny its demands. From all sides now the employers are summoning allies to their aid: government officials, defense commissioners, arbitrators, preachers of patriotism, army officers and, most important of all today, their lieutenants in the ranks of labor itself: Green, Hillman, Murray, Tobin, Lewis, and their staffs. The function of these labor lieutenants and their policy of class collaboration is to lower the self-confidence of organized labor, to underestimate its strength, to keep it from independent class action, and to weaken its will to struggle and to win. — Fourth International, January 1941, American Labor and the War

One must accentuate especially the role which Jack London attributes to the labor bureaucracy and to the labor aristocracy in the further fate of mankind. Thanks to their support, the American plutocracy not only succeeds in defeating the workers’ insurrection but also in keeping its iron dictatorship during the following three centuries. We will not dispute with the poet the delay which can but seem to us too long. However, it is not a question of Jack London’s pessimism, but of his passionate effort to shake those who are lulled by routine, to force them to open their eyes and to see what is and what approaches. The artist is audaciously utilizing the methods of hyperbole. He is bringing the tendencies rooted in capitalism: of oppression, cruelty, bestiality, betrayal, to their extreme expression. He is operating with centuries in order to measure the tyrannical will of the exploiters and the treacherous role of the labor bureaucracy. — Trotsky and the Iron Heel His Observations on the Famous Novel

The last labor upsurge (Post World War II Labor Upsurge) in the United States occurred over 70 years ago in the late 1940s, The workers were victorious in their struggles to regaining their standard of living that was lost during the war and its ‘wage price freeze. (Which was supported by the Communist Party as part of their defense of Stalin’s policy of subordination of the class struggle to the Defense of the Soviet Union.)

The response of the ruling class was to amend the National Labor Relations Act, with the passage of the Taft-Hartley Act, (The Slave Labor Act) to give the employers a ‘level playing field’ in their relations with labor. The right wing of the labor bureaucracy, taking advantage of the class collaborationist policies of the Communist Party, used this law to expel any opposition, to their class collaboration policies, from the leadership of the trade union movement. In the process, they consolidated their power, which has continued to the present time.

The Results of Taft-Hartley Act

After the 1981 defeat of the PATCO strike, the trade union bureacracy openly adopted the policy of being in partnership with the boss. This ‘partnership with the boss’ was silently used to support the ‘lesser evil’ Democratic Party. Every tax ‘reform, since John Kennedy there has been an increase in taxes of the working class and a decrease in taxes for the rich. (Robinhood in Reverse)

In the interests of subordinating the working class to the needs of the boss and the Democratice Party, they refused to defend the working class.

Both the policy of ‘lessor evil’ and the declared ‘‘partnership with the boss’ polices of the United States Trade Union Bureaucracy, and their counterparts in the Civil Rights Movement, the Women’s Movement, etc., have led to the recent quick economic decline of working people, and small businesses, in this country.

Being in ‘partnership with the boss’ means:

  • That they cannot campaign for the taxation of the rich, but rather they support the ‘lessor evil’ Democratic Party, which has either proposed/voted for every ‘tax reform’, since Kennedy, to reduce the taxes of the rich at an expense of tax increases for the working class and small businesses — a ‘Robin Hood in Reverse’ Program, which has brought forth the largest transfer of the national wealth in American/World history, from a majority of the population to a small percentage of the country’s wealthiest families.
  • To bail out the rich and hope for a few pennies to trickle down to the working class, the oppressed minorities and the poor. This happens in the context with an all out attack upon the social gains that were won by the working class Trade Union struggles in the 30s and 40s and the civil rights movement of the 60s.
  • That you cannot opposed the US wars and war spending abroad, to bring the money home to put people to work.
  • What has been the response of these bureaucracies to these ‘Robin Hood in Reverse’ policies? They proposed that we vote for ‘Progressive’ Democrats, the political party that has been in the forefront of these bipartisan ‘Robin Hood in Reverse’ policies.
  • These bureaucrats cannot oppose the austerity attacks upon the working class, Blacks and oppressed minorities, and Native Americans by the 1%
  • In order enforce austerity the 1% has begun to use the Iron Heel against Blacks oppressed minorities, and Native Americans. When Blacks oppressed minorities, and Native Americans stand up to the Iron Heel, the Trade Union Bureaucracy has supported the 1%!
  • Even though most of the people fed up with the government being in partnership with the Banks and Wall Street. The rich, were able to seize this opportunity, by vacuum of leadership due to this default of leadership,  to use this unjust taxation and their Media Monopoly for their plundering attacks on government spending for social security, social welfare, and education, etc..

Just as the rich created the illusion of a mass movement for Obama as a ‘change’ candidate in 2008, they created the illusion of a mass movement for the ‘change’ Tea Party.

To regain what has been lost and win equal rights for all, we must stop supporting those who are oppressing us — the US capitalist class and their Democratic and Republican political parties. And go back to what made all movements powerful — opposing all capitalist parties and relying upon ourselves to build our own economic and independent political power.

That means organizing in our own interests as the working-class majority and the oppressed national minorities to unite the protectors of humanity’s habitat, anti-war fighters, all those opposed to the injustices of capitalism, to stop the unending ‘war on terrorism’.

For the good of the working class, it is time for the leadership of the social movements to resign or be replaced along with the ‘partnership with the boss’ and created a partnership with the oppress minorities — their natural allies! To begin anew the policies that won our basic rights in defense of our standard of living — through our own actions, independent of the tiny 1% minority, that own this country and the Democratic and Republican Parties.

If we are to survive we must overthrow these bureaucarcies and build a revitalize labor movement and a new leadership that could take our opposition to the streets! (An example a revitalize workng class organization if the  revitalize Labour Party led b Jeremy Corbyn.) We could use our number and resourses, not to support Democrats, but to start our own national newspaper and other media formations, to counter the Media Monopoly and its lies, in defense of the rich. We will then able to act in our own interests and build our own political party in opposition to oppression by the rich, as the Sons of liberty did at the original Boston Tea Party in opposition to British Capitalism. To build a movement that can oppose capitalist rule.

The Declaration of Independence declared that “All Men are created equal”, With “certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” And that “when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”  It our duty overthrow this unjust rule of the 1%.

Since austerity, global warming, and atomic destruction are a global concern, it requires all of humanity to act collectively, in our overall interests for our survival as a species, to correct the problem and to remove the obstacle of capitalism. It requires a society where humanity has social, economic, and political control over the entire environment. Such a society, a socialist society, is needed to ensure that all decisions affecting us and the environment are under the democratic control of humankind so that the production of goods will be done for the needs and survival of humanity instead of the production and the destruction of humanity and other species for profit.

With common ownership of the means of production, and common control and protection of all property and wealth, science and society will be in harmony with the ecosystem and humanity’s future.

With these goals we can begin to build an effective movement. As we continue to organize against capitalism and its destructive course, we can and will transform the world.

The United States ‘Principal of Preventive Strike’ And The Establishment of Governmental Vigilante Justice’

Pax Americana “Blessed Are The Peacemakers”

The recent rise in racist violence the return of “KKK Vigilanteism”  (The Police Lynchings of Oscar GrantSean Belland Rekia Boyd, and the individual vigilante Lynching of Trayvon Martin) in the United States is a reflexion of the “Vigilanteism” (Preemptive Strike) policy of the United States throughout the world. Why is this happening? It is happening, because capitalist imperialism is in worldwide competition with each capitalistic nation to control the world’s markets. This competition brought about the 1st World War.

Every world war since the World War I has led to a Socialist Revolution. The Soviet Union came into being with the revolution of 1917. China had its revolution in 1948, and with the advent of the cold war, Eastern Union became part of the Soviet Block. After World WarII, the colonial world rose up as revolutions for national independence occurred worldwide. In my opinion the  Brown v. Board of Educationof 1954 came about to improve the image of the United States to the leaderships of the African liberation organizations.

Concurrently, the United States had a rise of post war strikes and  the post World War II rise of the African Liberation Movement against colonialism was a major factor that led to self-confidence and self respect, by the American Black population beginning with the Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1955.

After the World WarII, the colonial world rose up as revolutions for national ndependence occurred worldwide. In my opinion the  Brown v. Board of Education of 1954 came about to improve the image of the United States to the leaderships of the African liberation organizations. Concurrently, the United States had a rise of post war strikes and  the post World War II rise of the African Liberation Movement against colonialism was a major factor that led to self-confidence and self respect, by the American Black population beginning with the Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1955.

Due to competition with the Soviet Block, the United States had difficulty intervening against the colonial revolution. In 1960 Cuba had a successful revolution against the Batista dictatorship and the simultaneous socialist revolution led my Fidel Castro and Che Guevara.

For the first time since the Russian Revolution, non-Stalinists led a socialist revolution.

The United States had a need to co-opt the leaderships of the trade unions in order to have class peace at home so that it could conduct war throughout the world.  It also had to improve it image so that it could get a foothold in the bourgeois nationalist movements and begin to co-opt the leadership of the colonial revolutions, as it began to co-opt the leadership of the labor movement through the gradual application of the Taft-Hartley Act (See my essay: The Fall of the Trade Union Movement) and the potential leadership of the Black Liberation movement. In this process, they first had to assassinate Malcolm X and Martin Luther King. (See my essays:The Assassinations of M.L.K. Jr. and Malcolm X and The Rise and Fall of the Civil Rights Movement)

With the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Soviet Block, (See my essay: Party Congress Backs Gorbachev’s ‘Reforms’.) and the world-wide co-optation of the leaderships of the workers and the oppressed, the United States declared they were the leaders of the world without anyone to oppose them. Thus, United States Capitalism and its need for ever increasing markets, in a finite world, is now trying to establish a ‘New World Order’ or a PAX Americana (see my essay: Pax Americana and The Failure of ‘Lesser Evilism’.) In this endeavor, its policy is to make a ‘preemptive strike’ to capture the world’s resources and markets and control the earth.

Thus it is taking ‘preemptive risks’ in order to combat the falling rate of profit to monopolize markets and to rape and plunder the world’s natural resources at any risk. They are even going to the very depths of the oceans to siphon oil and to drill for oil in the Earth’s crust to explode shale and to siphon oil. This is done in wanton disregard  of the effects upon humanity’s habitat and the survival of the human species.

Preemptive Strike Policy Comes Home To Roost

The capitalist 1% ruling class has studied history, and it knows that it is only a matter of time before the working class and it allies overthrow the misleaderships of the working class and the world’s oppressed — even in this country.

Therefore it has carried out a policy of war abroad and preparing for war at home.

The only solution for capitalism, at this time is the worldwide application of the The Iron Heal, as described by Jack London in his book, The Iron Heal. In the United States it has already laid the basis for its implementation through ‘terrorist legislation’ to eliminate the Bill of Rights. The cops have attacked all occupy wall street demonstrations and they have escalated violence in the minority and working class communities and have written laws to encourage vigilante ‘first strike’ ‘justice’ and which as Michelle Alexander describes as The New Jim Crow, the establishment of a prison slavery system that will eventually be used for all of us.

Now is the time to reorganize all anti-capitalist forces and fighters for working class emancipation and self-determination for people oppressed by capitalism for the rebuilding of a new revolutionary political organization to organize and build our combined power to overturn capitalism that is, in its death agony, waging war, famine, pestilence, and death, and the globalization of global warming throughout the world.

When we organize our power, we will have the force to stop the corporate thievery! Instead giving ‘bailout’ donations to these modern day robber barons we shall bailout the victims of the modern day Wall Street Robber Barons! — Not a cent to bail out the bankers!

Instead of the socialization of debt, we will expropriate and nationalize the entire banking system under the democratic control of capitalism’s victims, not its agents!

We can then force the ruling classes to open its books so we can determine what has been stolen, hidden in off shore accounts, or squandered at our expense! Make the banks, corporations and the ruling class pay the full price of the crisis — Not the poor and the working class.

Once we organize our power independent of the ruling class we can bring all the troops home now from Iraq, Afghanistan, and every other country where they’re stationed, and instead of spending trillions for war, we can initiate massive public works projects, to rebuild the nation’s inner cities, schools and hospitals and eliminate poverty and unemployment. We can also force a one hundred percent tax on the war industry profiteers!

What is needed is solidarity of the all exploited and oppressed. In the present world, the rights of the capitalists to make a profit are in direct conflict with our basic rights. In this sense, the capitalist system has become a threat to humanity.

The occupy movement is a reflection of the current changing mood in the world’s consciousness about capitalism and the need to take the power from the 1% and redistribute the world’s wealth on a democratic basis.

The vehicle to organize this solidarity already exists in the world-wide Occupy movement — the Occupy popular assemblies. It will soon spread to the working class and to factory occupations and factory assemblies.

From the local Occupy organizations delegates, could be elected, based upon one person, one vote, to regional popular assemblies, and then delegates, subject to instant recall, can be elected, based upon one person one vote, to national  popular assembles, and then be elected, subject to instant recall and based upon one person one vote, to continental assemblies, and then be elected, subject to instant recall and based upon one person one vote, to one world popular assembly. Thereby all actions throughout the world can democratically organize the solidarity that it is needed to disarm and wrest the power from the 1% to the 99%!.

As the old union song Solidarity stated:

“ In our hands is placed a power greater than their hoarded gold;    Greater than the might of armies, magnified a thousand-fold. We can bring to birth a new world from the ashes of the old. Solidarity makes us strong.”

Jefferson’s words, from the Declaration of Independence. that “All Men are created equal”, With “certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” And that “when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their (The Peoples) right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”

According to this Declaration, we have a right and a duty to overthrow an unjust government! That human rights are unalienable, means that these rights can never be superseded. At all points of conflict the rights of humanity to survive must supersede the right of the few to make a profit. The right to a free world is an unalienable human right!

Since the present crisis of capitalism is a global concern, it requires all of humanity to act collectively, in our overall interests for our survival as a species, to correct the problem and to remove the obstacle of capitalism. It requires a society where humanity has social, economic, and political control over the earth. Such a society, a socialist society, is needed to ensure that all decisions affecting the survival of our standard of living are under the democratic control of humankind so that the production of goods will be done for the needs and survival of humanity instead of the production and the destruction of humanity and other species for profit.

With common ownership of the means of production, and common control and protection of all property and wealth, science and society will be in harmony with the ecosystem and humanity’s future.

With these goals we can begin to build an effective movement. As we continue to organize against capitalism and its destructive course, we can and will transform the world.

As Victor Hugo stated: “There is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come”
